Summary

I study how technology can support older adults, chronic disease populations, and the family members who care for them. My lab developed the Health App Recommendation Tool (HART), which matches caregivers with digital tools that fit their needs. Additionally, I have worked with VA teams to develop the VVCMatch, a targeted digital literacy evaluation designed to optimize telehealth implementation and effectiveness in the VA. I also co-lead a multisite VA study that uses telehealth and targeted screening tools to optimize the care pathway for Veterans eligible for amyloid-targeting therapy. I co-direct the Technology and Aging Innovation Lab and serve as Program Director of the Master of Rehabilitation Technology program.
