We are pleased to announce Hong Wang, PhD, as interim director of the Biostatistics Facility and Raman Venkataramanan, PhD, FCP, FAAPS, as interim director of the Cancer Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics Facility.
Dr. Wang has been a biostatistician in the Biostatistics Facility at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center since 2004. He also holds appointments as Research Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics, Biostatistician for the NCI Experimental Therapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN) Pittsburgh Consortium, and Biostatics Core Co-Director for our Skin/Melanoma SPORE.
Dr. Raman Venkataramanan is Distinguished Service Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pathology at Pitt; Director of TDM and Toxicology for UPMC, Clinical Pharmacokinetics Lab, School of Pharmacy; and is a member of Starzl Transplantation Institute, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, MWRI, and MIRM. He has contributed significantly to the basic and clinical pharmacology of six different drugs and one organ preservation solution.
