Announcing Anwaar Saeed as Cancer Therapeutics Program Co-Leader

Anwaar Saeed, MD, has been announced as a new co-lead of UPMC Hillman Cancer Center’s Cancer Therapeutics (CT) Program, effective November 1, 2025.

Dr. Saeed is Associate Professor of Medicine, Section Chief of Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology, and Scientific Director of the GI Disease Center at UPMC Hillman. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Colorectal Cancer Committee of the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP) Foundation.

The CT program will continue to be co-led by Drs. Adam Brufsky and Peter Wipf.
