Biostatistics Facility (BF)

The Biostatistics Facility (BF) supports UPMC Hillman Cancer Center investigators in the design, analysis, and reporting of cancer-related studies, including basic science, genomics/proteomics, clinical trials, epidemiology, prevention, and behavioral and health outcomes research. The BF prioritizes UPMC Hillman member research in basic, translational, therapeutic, and cancer control / population science studies and member activities.

BF statisticians serve on key committees, including Protocol Review Committees and the Data Safety and Monitoring Committee. BF faculty have expertise in epidemiology, statistical genetics, bioinformatics, genomics and proteomics.
