TARPS is a state-of-the-art, high volume research histology facility that provides:
- Tissue handling and project design from the histology aspect
- Routine processing, paraffin embedding, and microtomy of human and non-human tissue samples
- Frozen sample (with or without OCT) cryosectioning and staining
- Evaluation and optimization of novel antibodies
- Immunohistochemical staining using conventional and novel antibodies
- TUNEL staining for Apoptosis
- Various histochemical stains (Trichrome, PAS, Elastic etc)
- Design and manufacture of paraffin tissue arrays (TMAs)
